Today,
let's talk about getting lots of targeted traffic to your
site - thousands of people who are interested, who have
money, and who are ready to buy.
But
before we go into the details, let's get into the right
frame of mind.

First
of all, realize that your time is valuable. You only have
so many hours every day to devote to your business, and
you should only spend them where they count.
The
key here is to think big and focus on the things that
bring in BIG results FAST with little or no work on your
part.
Remember,
you are running a business, not a hobby, so don't waste
your time and energy on unproductive activities like free
classified ads or free links. They are time consuming
and produce very little results.
A
lot of people fail to think big once they get started...
Please don't make that mistake. After all, it's freedom
you're after, right?
A
few visitors a day is useless. To get huge results, you
need to get thousands of interested people to visit your
site every week.
How
do we do this?
Well,
the key is to focus completely on a few techniques that
expose your offer to tens of thousands of people automatically,
without manual work.
Are
the traffic generation methods
I recommend really that effective?
Well, here's the way I see it:
I
only spend my time on a promotion strategy if I feel it
will realistically generate at least $1,000 for every
hour I invest. That is my definition of an effective technique.
In
my book, that's the kind of things you should be focusing
on.
If
you look around on the Internet you'll find a bunch of
reports called "1001 ways to drive traffic to your
site" or something similar. Throw
them away.
If
you value your time, you should only focus on the techniques
that give you maximum results with minimum work.
Let's
take a look at what "massive traffic" means...
Would
you get excited if I told you that you could invest $10
to buy a small ad that generates a $100 profit within
a week?
Perhaps?
Not too exciting?
Well,
think again.
Take
a look at this... What if you could do the same thing,
but this time invest $10,000 and get a $100,000 profit?
That's
a bit more exciting, right?
The
thing is that these examples are basically the same. In
both examples, you got back ten times what you invested.
All we did in the second one was reach 1,000 times more
people.
Do
you see how the process is exactly the same?
When
you have a proven sales system set up, all you do is "feed"
the machine with new prospects, and it will keep producing
the same predictable results.
Feed
it a lot of traffic and you make a lot of money. Stop
feeding it and the money stops.
Simple.
This
is extremely important. It's very easy to forget that
in order to get huge results, you need to attract massive
amounts of traffic. 100 visitors a week will NEVER make
you rich, even if you have the best sales letter in the
world.
To
get the kind of results we're after, you need thousands
of targeted visitors every week.
This
is why I recommend that you forget most free traffic generating
"tricks". They just take too much time.
Next,
I'll show you a few effective ways to generate real results
quickly. We'll only be using those $1,000 an hour techniques.
You
can get by fine by focusing completely on one or two of
them. Or, if you prefer, you can use a combination of
the strategies in order to bring in prospects from a lot
of different sources.
Here's
what you should do to attract massive targeted traffic
to your site...
Traffic Generator #1:
Set
up Joint Venture deals and find
resellers for your product
Your first step should be to find people willing to resell
your product for part of the profits. Focus on people
who have their own big list of customers or subscribers
to recommend your product to.
This
is the most powerful promotion method that exists.
You
see, there are many list owners out there who have invested
tens of thousands of dollars and years of hard work to
build the kind of trust they have with their list. And
many don't realize what a powerful asset this is.
All
it takes is 10 minutes - a quick endorsement email from
them - to give you the same thing: complete access to
their in-house list AND the trust of their readers. Think
about that!
By
making a deal where these people recommend your
product to their subscribers - for a part of the profits
- you can tap into this relationship and pull in a large
amount of sales fast.
Basically,
there are three types of people you should approach:

Other
product developers

Newsletter
publishers

High
traffic site owners
If
one large site signs up as a reseller and brings in 5
sales a week for you, that's 260 sales a year. Get ten
resellers like this and you have 2,600 sales. If you sell
a $50 product and offer a 50% commission, that's a nice
extra $65,000 profit per year for you - passive income
that you would not otherwise have.
This
example is a bit wild, but that's the scale you should
be thinking in.
Simply
dedicate yourself to contacting 5-10 potential partners
every day with a personalized JV proposal letter. If you
do this, you'll soon have all the sales you need.

Traffic
Generator #2:
Get
your articles published in
all the major newsletters
Another effective strategy is to write a few good articles
and submit them for publication in related newsletters.
There are many publications out there with more than 100,000
subscribers, all looking for good information.
How
would you like to get thousands of dollars worth of free
publicity instantly for a few hours work? This is easy
to do and it works extremely well.
The
process involves 3 simple steps:
- Writing
a short 500-700 word article (1-2 hours)
- Preparing
a short submission letter (10 minutes)
- Sending
out the article to your list of publishers (10 minutes)
Once
you get the hang of it, it takes a few hours to write
a new article and send it out. There's no hard work involved,
and you should do this at least once per month.
As
soon as your article is published in a few large newsletters
around the world, you can start getting thousands of targeted
visitors to your site. It also brands you as an industry
expert.
And
this is extremely targeted traffic. My average conversion
rate from published articles is 9%. If you do the math,
you'll see why this is exciting!

Traffic
Generator #3:
Start
a large scale advertising campaign
Paid advertising is an effective way to "buy"
lifetime customers, and do it fast.
As
long as you break even or make a small profit on every
sale you'll build your loyal list of customers quickly
and for free, and from there on every back-end sale you
make is pure profit.
Simply
start small by advertising in related ezines, and pyramid
your profits by reinvesting 50% of the profits in new
ads. You can also buy cheap traffic through pay-per-click
search engines like Google Adwords and Overture.com. Here
you bid on specific, targeted keywords and pay for each
click to your site (as low as 5 cents / click.) If you're
in a small market without too much competition, you can
find great bargains.
You
need to test and target your offers, but when you get
to the point where you can predictably invest $1
and get $2 back, you have a gold mine. Don't forget this.
It
may not sound exciting, but think about what it really
means... It means you can easily and automatically double
your investment whenever you want.
Invest
$1,000 and get $2,000 back. Invest $10,000 and get $20,000
back.
Would
you like to double your profits? Then all you need to
do is reach twice as many people. It's easy to do once
you've optimized your sales system.
Think big.
When
you have a good idea of your average conversion rate,
you know approximately how much money you can spend to
"buy" one customer. And as long as you track
your results, you know exactly which ads are paying
off for you.
The
process is scalable, and all you need to do is consistently
reinvest 50% of your profits in new ads. Pyramid your
profits.
Want
to add 1,000 people to your customer list in one week?
Then all you need to do is "buy" enough targeted
visitors through paid advertising, sit back, and relax.
Nothing
else to do. Your sales machine takes care of everything.
Simply
keep placing ads where they produce a profit for you and
drop the losers. If 10 sales bring you a $400 profit after
marketing costs and fulfillment, 1,000 sales will bring
you $40,000.
This
is what I mean by massive traffic - and this is how you
get more results in one week than most people get in a
year. With less work.

3 additional traffic methods
you should investigate
OK, those were the primary traffic sources you should
use for maximum results. They are the most time and cost
effective tools available, and you'll get by fine if you
focus completely on them.
But,
depending on your market, there are three additional strategies
you might want to take advantage of. I'll go through them
quickly below...
Viral marketing:
It's
quite possible to get your sales message to start spreading
like a virus all over the Internet, but only if you do
it right.
Usually
the idea is to create a valuable free service/special
report/email course that's designed to spread your advertising
message automatically - and encourage people to pass it
on. Selling low cost products including reprint rights
is another method being used successfully.
You
set it up once, and then you let a few major players announce
it to their lists in order to get the effect started -
that's the key to making it work. If you can find a good
viral marketing angle for your market, go for it.
Free media publicity:
It's
quite possible to get tens of thousands of dollars worth
of free publicity for your business in the offline world
as well.
Some
people use no other form of advertising to sell their
products or services, and still manage to bring in thousands
of sales through free publicity - at no cost to them.
If you're interested in doing media interviews, this is
powerful.
Simply
write a provoking press release and submit it to the right
media contacts. (I give you a formula that shows how this
is done.) If your story gets picked up, the coverage can
make your name known instantly.
Search engines:
I'm
sure you've heard lots of hype about this. Search engine
positioning CAN bring you prospects who are hungry and
ready to buy what you have to sell - IF you're
in a narrow niche market where there's not too much competition.
But get this: if you're in a crowded market, it's usually
too hard.
For
crawler based search engines like google.com you need
to create optimized keyword focused pages in order to
get high rankings. It can be done, but I feel it's much
too hard to do by hand.
The
key is this: Don't try to play with the search engines
manually if you value your time. Instead, use an automated
tool like XSitePro
to do all the research, page design, and optimization.
It's a good bet and well worth checking out if you're
in a niche market.
Here's
the key to getting massive
results from your efforts:
I know some people will be disappointed because I'm not
giving you hundreds of revolutionizing "magic"
traffic building tricks here.
I
have a very good reason for not doing so:
The
"tricks" don't work very well. And they are
certainly not worth your efforts. My job is to help you
get real, tangible results, not give you a hundred useless
things to keep track of every day.
The
key when trying to attract massive traffic to your site
is to keep it simple, focus completely on a few proven
strategies that WORK, and then keep using them for all
they are worth. That's all there is to it.
Don't
waste your time trying a new promotion technique every
week. Stick to the basics.
I
know some people will tell you that you constantly need
to keep searching for new traffic generation tricks, but
that is simply not the way to go if you want fast results.
It is, however, a good way to waste your time.
Key Point: If you want to minimize your work, simply
focus on setting up large joint venture deals, getting
articles published, and rolling out with paid advertising.
Use the other methods mentioned here if you like. That's
it.
When you rely on these proven techniques, you'll be free
to take a step back, relax, and let the machine do most
of the work for you. That's what we're after.

these methods, you'll get all the traffic you want. Just
do it!
